[edit] Credits
[edit] Uncredited Actors
- as retrived from Major Sloan's talk page
The reason uncredited persons were listed in Trivia and not in the credits section was to follow True Credits rule -- which is that our credits would match the credits of the episode exactly. Perhaps we can create a new section in the info box for "extra information" or something? — Paul (talk) 15:30, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm curious as to why the uncredited line is in the template, then. I've been mulling the "below the line" people as well. Music and editing are significant, as are the stunts and effects on shows like these, and we've gone on enough about the music here to warrant in-article mentions. Course that's all work we'd have to do, LOL.--Major Sloan 15:40, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
The template is still a work-in-progress. There are still lots of tweaks to be made, including the addition of end credits. — Paul (talk) 13:50, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Images
[edit] Character Pages
- retrieved from Paul's talk page
There's also a danger of using too many images. Every character has their prime moment in an episode and perhaps one or two secondary moments. We should try to keep images to three or four for characters.
[edit] Episode Images (Info Box)
- as retrieved from Once a Thief's talk page
... production elements like casting (as well as things like locations, FX, technology, etc.) shouldn't guide our decision for episode article main image. I very much like the idea of Jaime always being in the main image, be it an action scene, close-up, iconic moment, or with a guest star. — Paul (talk) 06:05, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
... what with the show being unavailable in the US (for non-PAL geeks or VHS airtapes etc), remembering which episode it is can be a lot harder going on old memories, let alone those who haven't seen the show trying to learn about it here. "It's the one with Jaime in it" can become the message with Jaime-only.... Including something in the frame that is unique, such as the guest cast etc, helps to nail exactly which episode we're talking about. See Claws or SMDM's Straight On 'Til Morning for instance. Obviously this is a resource for fans, but also for informing and educating. The 2-shot works for me.--Major Sloan 21:15, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

absolutely the top image should be iconic. Great examples are The Jailing of Jaime, Mirror Image and The Seven Million Dollar Man. Not so great examples are The Deadly Missiles and Return of the Robot Maker. — Paul (talk) 10:58, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Galleries
- retrieved from Paul's talk page
... Galleries should contain images that punctuate memorable moments or character highlights; various shots of Jaime are certainly nice to look at, but there needs to be more contrast between them .

... images on both sides of the article body looks terrible... images should be a gallery at the end of the summary. — Paul (talk) 10:58, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Page Format
[edit] Headings
- as retrieved from Major Sloan's talk page
The Deconstructed header denotes the separation of standard episode information and "extra" or "fannish" sections (quotes, gaffes, outtakes, trivia, etc.). — Paul (talk) 15:30, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
... Deconstructed really applies to all sub heads after, not just the text without subheads immediately under. So the following subheads should have an extra "=" bracketing them to indicate they are within Deconstructed. --Major Sloan 18:39, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
As far as the Deconstructed items, there were several ideas floated, including putting them all on a separate Deconstructed page.... Another idea saw the header apply only to text that revealed "behind-the-scenes" information, but I contended that quotes, trivia, nitpicks, etc. were a natural part of the Deconstructed family. So the result is what we have now: all the headers being the same size. It's simply a cosmetic issue; I didn't bother changing all of that since it wasn't a major problem right now. But yes, eventually, the only headers were going to be ==Summary==, ==Deconstructed==, and then things like ==Gallery==, ==Home Video==, etc. Then again, I'm sure there are some that believe we should get rid of ==Deconstructed== altogether and keep the header sizes the way they are. — Paul (talk) 15:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Scenes Deleted in Syndication
- retrieved from Paul's talk page
With the advent of episodes on DVD, this section is rapidly becoming irrelevant. It could be morphed into a section on commercial DVD releases that contain edited episodes (La Mujer Bionica, Mexico). — Paul (talk) 08:00, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
... any scenes that had been deleted should just be included in the summary section.... Additionally, the note in the "Quotes" section heading about deleted scenes being italicized is then unnecessary. ... included a deleted scenes section for Universal released DVDs for The Bionic Woman (Part II), which seems like a good idea on an episode by episode basis. Karen (talk) 19:54, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
I like your idea of a DVD Release section but I think the section should be a listing of ALL commercial media through which the episode is available; VHS, DVD, Laserdisc, etc. We could call it something like Commercial Releases.... And then, through that section provide details on omitted scenes, different versions, etc. — Paul (talk) 14:26, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
