Certainly, the OSI found it problematic, as evidenced by Agent Mel Bristo's suggestion that there was "no way" anything like this number could have escaped "the Birddog". (The Solid Gold Kidnapping). The matter was set to be decided in the unproduced sitcom spinoff, Cousin Oliver and Little Bear, but pre-production was halted before an answer to the numerical mystery could be provided.
