[edit] Summary
Andy Sheffield, a once-athletic youngster living in a small Utah town, has been selected by an OSI computer to receive an implant to restore his paralyzed legs, which were injured in a landslide that killed his father, who was a controversial figure. The implant gives Andy enormous physical power, and the boy sets out on a dangerous mission to clear his father's name.

[edit] Trivia
[edit] Storyline
- This two- hour episode was intended to serve as a pilot for a spin-off series that never materialized.
[edit] Cast
- Guest star, Greg Evigan makes his first acting debut on this episode. He has gone on to star in his own hit TV series including “BJ & The Bear” (which was created by former Six Million Dollar Man writer/producer, Glen A. Larson) and William Shatner’s “Tek War”.
[edit] Credits
- This two-hour episode was broken into two parts for syndication. While no material was removed or added, the new "Part II" did have credits superimposed over footage at the beginning. The first hour retained the title of the 2-hour version, creating some ambiguity as to which version one is watching, but in keeping with standard practice of not including Part I in the title of the first installments of two parters.

[edit] Continuity
- During the flashback scenes from the pilot movie of Steve getting used to his bionics, Martin Balsam’s dialogue was dubbed out and replaced by new dialogue from Martin E. Brooks for obvious reasons.
[edit] Chronology
- Steve claims to have played against Frank Gifford while playing college football. In order for this statement to be true, Steve would have to be about ten years older than is generally accepted for the character.
