[edit] Copy this blank form
To use this template, copy the empty code, below, and insert it at the top of a character page.
{{actor|actor=|image=|born=|died=|birthname=|SMDM=|BW=|reunion=|wiki=|imdb=|website=}}
Then, fill in the blanks as appropriate. Any field left blank will not show up. The {{{image}}} field is special, however, for its level of automation. If it is left blank, a "picture unavailable" image will automatically be included in the infobox. And, it is not necessary to use [[brackets]] for image file names; they're automatically linked.

[edit] Internet Movie Database
The template also allows for automatic linkage of Internet Movie Database, Wikipedia, and actor webpages. To use the IMDb feature, simply enter the seven-digit code for the page in the imdb variable. To find the appropriate code, look for the number after the letters "nm" in the web address.
For example, this is the IMDb page address for Lindsay Wagner:
http://imdb.com/name/nm0905993/
The number needed by the imdb variable is 0905993. Note that leading zeroes are necessary; many IMDb pages have four or five leading zeroes.
[edit] Wikipedia
While it is technically possible to make the Bionic Wiki page automatically link to the Wikipedia page on an actor, there are at least two disadvantages to doing so. First, an automatic linkage assumes, often incorrectly, that there is a Wikipedia page for an actor. A number of the actors given pages on Bionic Wiki are too minor to have a Wikipedia page. Second, the Wikipedia page for an actor may be slightly different than the Bionic Wiki page. A good example is René Auberjonois. On Bionic Wiki, the page for the actor is spelled with an é. However, that spelling takes you to the actor's grandfather on Wikipedia, where the actor is spelled with an unaccented e.
For these reasons, it's necessary to type in a value next to the wiki variable, making sure it actually links to the correct page on Wikipedia.
[edit] Actor's homepage
The webpage variable allows you to specify a page strongly associated with an actor. Generally, this will be a living actor's own homepage or otherwise "official" page. For a deceased actor, it might be a large fansite. Be sure to include the complete address, in the form,http://www.address.domain.
