Talk:Rudy Wells
From The Bionic Wiki
[edit] Why'd the actors change?
This article could be massively more useful if it included some information as to why the role changed hands so many times. Can anyone provided verifiable evidence why three men played Rudy Wells? CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 14:13, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- As I'm sure you know, the simple answer is never as interesting as an in depth examination. But we may never learn the details of this cast change. According to Martin Brooks, he was asked to play Wells by exec Harve Bennett during a game of tennis. He says it was supposed to be a "one-shot" deal for Return of the Bionic Woman. This suggests that Alan Oppenheimer might have come back afterward, but Martin gave no offering of why the change took place (he was just glad it stuck!). Details might be uncovered in the just released, Bionic Book. I'll check around. — Paul (talk) 19:51, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- The "Rudy switch" is indeed covered in detail in "The Bionic Book." User:Valor
