Roger Davis (April 5, 1939 - ) was born in Kentucky as Jon Roger Davis. In 1968 he married actress Jaclyn Smith, best known for her role in Charlie's Angels, but the two divorced in 1978.

Davis has been involved in real estate and land development for many years, and is currently developing luxury homes in Southern California.


Davis began his acting career on the short-lived television series The Gallant Men (1962 - 1963). He next regularly appeared on the daytime soap Dark Shadows (1968 - 1970), in which he portrayed five different characters over the course of two years. Davis later starred in Alias Smith and Jones (1971 - 1973), first as the Narrator, then as Hannibal Heyes/Joshua Smith after the originating actor, Peter Duel, committed suicide. With the cancellation of the series, Davis went on to guest star in various television series throughout the 1970s, including episodes of Owen Marshall: Counselor at Law, Wonder Woman, and Galactica 1980. The actor is also an accomplished voice-over artist with thousands of credited commercials.[1]
