Marcia Lewis was born 8 August 1938, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

A tiny, fireball of a musical comedy actress known for her red-haired harridans on Broadway: Miss Hannigan in "Annie," Matron Mama Morton in "Chicago" (for which she was nominated for a Tony award).

Long divorced, she recently extended her stage name to Marcia Lewis Bryan following her second marriage.

Has been nominated twice for Broadway's Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical): in 1994 for a revival of "Grease," and in 1997 for a revival of "Chicago."
