John Ellerton is the owner of Ellerton Realty in Ojai, California. He is the real estate agent that sells Steve Austin the old Marsden Ranch in Ojai. Ellerton advises Steve that he will get some good acreage, but that the place needs some fixing up.
Ellerton is excited about having the famous astronaut back in town. Despite Steve asking him to keep the sale a secret, in typical small town fashion, Ellerton passes the news on to Steve's parents, Jim and Helen Elgin.
