Heathrow Airport, sometimes called London Airport, was used as a staging ground for the transport of a $1 billion gold ransom being shipped from the United States government to operatives of "the Company".

Oscar Goldman and OSI agent, Mel Bristo, were temporarily stationed there while they awaited further communication from "the Company" about where to further deliver the gold bullion.

From Heathrow, the bullion was transported overland to Dover, then Calais, France before making a longer journey across the European continent. (The Solid Gold Kidnapping)
