Summary[]
The nation of Burdabi is in the hands of Air Marshal Mahmud Majid, ruling in the name of young Prince Hassad, whose father was killed by Majid's forces six months earlier. When U.S. intelligence learns that Majid is planning the "accidental" death of the prince, the State Department offers to send the Thunderbirds to Burdabi to help celebrate a national holiday. In reality, the gesture is a cover for Steve Austin to rescue the prince.
Quotes[]
Oscar: I'm sorry to interrupt your vacation in Las Vegas.
Steve: It doesn't matter Oscar. Six million dollars worth of bionics and I still can't roll a seven.
Trivia[]
- Originally a two-hour episode, it was re-edited into two parts for syndication.
- After a candlelit dinner Jan Lawrence reveals to Steve that she learned to fly with Kelly Woods. This marks an unusual occurrence where continuity from other episodes was used for small talk.
Gaffes[]
Continuity[]
- After Steve frees Jan's car from a fender-bender, she peels away, splattering him with dirty puddle water. But in the next shot, the stain appears to be gone.
Props[]
- Three times jailers appear to unlock the jail door from the inside with keys. But the actors are only pretending to unlock the door. Later, when Steve breaks in, we see a barrel bolt lock on the other side.
- Steve approaches a high voltage fence that he must jump over — but first he touches it with his Bionic hand and does not react to being electrocuted.
