The Six Million Dollar Man Aladdin lunchboxes were manufactured in 1974 and 1978[1] by Aladdin Industries. In the United States, both versions had an embossed steel box and a matching plastic Thermos. Like Aladdin's Bionic Woman lunchboxes, both versions featuring Steve Austin were designed by prolific Aladdin artist, Elmer Lehnhardt.[2]

1974 design[]

Lehnhardt's 1974 front design was used in both the United States and Canada. However, the Canadian version was blue plastic, as opposed to the metal version sold in the United States. Also, the Canadian version did not have graphics on the back of the box. The two front graphics were indistinguishable, except by the small Canadian flag in the lower right-hand corner.

1978 design[]

Graphics around the side of the box made reference to Bigfoot.
