Donald Moffat was born on December 26, 1930 in Plymouth, Devon, England. He is an actor, known for The Thing (1982), One Life to Live (1968) and Clear and Present Danger (1994). He has been married to Gwen Arner since June 13, 1970. They have two children. He was previously married to AnneMurray Ellsperman.
Almost one year after his second appearance on SMDM, Moffat played an android name Rem in the CBS series Logan's Run. In the first episode, Rem refers to himself as an android or cyborg.

Moffat starred in two episodes of The Six Million Dollar Man. In season three, he played Lester Burstyn in The Bionic Criminal. In season four he played Dr. Martin Davis in the episode Nightmare in the Sky.
Interestingly, Moffat played the villain in episodes featuring the second appearance of supporting characters: Barney Hiller and Kelly Wood.
