Don Gordon has had a long career as a character actor. His first such role on television came in 1949, and he had regular work virtually every year thereafter until his retirement in the early 1990s. He has had few starring roles, but he is remembered among Steve McQueen fans for his regular appearance in that star's movies.
He was nominated for an Emmy for his guest work on The Defenders.
