This category lists motion pictures and television shows that include parodies of The Six Million Dollar Man.

The PBS series The Electric Company featured a skit called The Six Dollar and Twenty-Five Cent Man that featured a character called Steve Awesome, a skateboard tester who falls off a skateboard and is severely injured, then is made into a bionic man by the government. He is fitted with a camera eye that allows him to take pictures of the mission statements he receives and then play them back when required - which he always does when he is on a mission (the show being an educational TV program). The one mission I remember him being on is the one where he is instructed to "stop the robber" at a top secret army vault. When he arrives at the vault, he finds a robot there, and replays his instructions, but takes them to mean "stop the robot." He does, and thankfully, the robot turns out to be a human robber in disguise, thus fulfilling his actual mission! The Steve Awesome skits were all filmed around the mid to late seventies, around when The Electric Company was ending its original run. Glammazon 02:51, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
