Captain Braco is tasked with piloting Steve Austin over remote African terrain in an attempt to recover film from the downed "Little Orphan" plane. While attempting to manually turn the propeller, Braco is injured by an explosion caused by rebel forces. Managing to turn the propeller, Steve and Braco narrowly escape in the plane. Unable to locate the "Little Orphan", Braco takes over the controls of the plane when Steve parachutes to search for the plane on the ground.
